Well not in the case of a local sponsor Bri-Ton Liftmaster investing in the passion of young cricketers. During the I.C.C Womans World Cup Cricket tournament Sheldon the CEO of

Bri - Ton Liftmaster made it possible for Van Riebeeckstrand Primary school to attend the match between South Africa and Bangladesh. For some of the boys, it was their first time ever in a cricket stadium. A life-changing event that will never be forgotten, Seeing the excitement on their faces firsthand reignited my passion for cricket coaching and the development of young players. Sheldon's passion for the game and the willingness to pay it forward for the love of the game has truly made a difference in the u13 A team of VRS. I am glad to report the boys have been playing better cricket, and structured cricket now that they got to see first-hand what the coaching staff was always going on about.

If all sponsors can as themselves it's not what they can do for me but what I can do for the game then the future of cricket growing stronger lies not in the monetary value of sponsor support but in their belief that cricket and the child will be the ultimate beneficiary.
